Ami Otero Minars is the founder of Jondo Productions and a creative producer dedicated to documentary and cinematic storytelling. Her work is driven by a passion for culture, performance, and artistic collaboration, with a particular interest in projects that build connection across communities and borders.

Of mixed-race Indigenous roots from Ryukyu, Okinawa, Ami brings a deeply personal commitment to cultural preservation and representation. Through Jondo Productions, she develops projects that celebrate artistic traditions while creating space for innovation, dialogue, and exchange on a global scale.

At Jondo Productions, Ami has built a platform for artists, collaborators, and stories that might otherwise remain unseen. She is especially passionate about documentaries that explore performance, identity, heritage, and the ways creative expression can bring people together.

Her vision is to create lasting cultural impact through film — producing work that is visually compelling, emotionally resonant, and rooted in real human experience.
